About: It is the Meiji era, and Japan had only just beginning to adapt to the Western influence which rapidly changing the country through the sharing of technology and ideology. Hakumei University is an unusual university at the time where it welcomes both male and female students, and even have them to attend the same lectures together. Inevitably there will be admiration between themselves, and some would send a love letter to the person they are interested with, as it is the popular means to do so. This series is about four people in the university, and their budding romance that starts with such a letter.
