Story: This series is about a relationship story between a music band members of a certain university, called the Misfits, and their respective girlfriends.
Haruna Hibiki (CV: Kawamura Masato)
Hibiki is the leader of the band Misfits, who also plays the guitar and the band's composer. He is also a fourth year student so he's very close to graduation and to enter the working age. He's the kind older brother type and very friendly. His girlfriend is from another university and they have been managing their relationship as well as they could despite having many difficulties just to spend time with one another. The girlfriend began to show her lack of confidence how they could go on now that Hibiki got an offer to work in a certain recording studio (I think) right after he graduated and it's pretty far away from she is. They decided in the end to still give their future together a chance.
Suzuhara Kyouya (CV: Okino Yasuhiro)
A third year, Kyouya plays the drum for Misfits. He is quite the serious type but also a pretty cool guy. His girlfriend is from a different faculties than him but they had been together since high school. His story is about him holding himself back from progressing with his musical career just so he didn't want to put any distance between him and the girlfriend, whereas the girlfriend kept telling him to grab the chance while it's still there.
Otowa Aoi (CV: Asagi Yuu)
Aoi is a first year with a very stereotypical of a toshishita type; cheerful, energetic, and a bit clingy. His girlfriend is a member of a different band and a third year. While they were practicing for a concert (I think) that's coming in a few months, she suddenly told him that she is quitting her band and instead to focus on her studies as her last year is coming up. He didn't actually agree with this and sulked a bit. They reconciled soon after when she explained she wanted to graduate well and pursue in event management (I think) so she can further be a support to his band.
Final say: This is one of the first series I've listened to so it kinda makes an impression on me and sets the standard to Good Plot. Everything about them is great; the positive relationship, the talking about their problems and coming up with a solution together... I may be aromantic but at least I can agree that those are the qualities that makes a relationship meaningful. The ecchi parts are pretty basic though, with nothing too extreme, so this is pretty recommended for someone very new to the R18 drama cd scene. Also I should mention, this is one of Kawamura Masato's best works.
