About: In an alternate universe, in the kingdom of Roswell, there was a legend that if a man can harness the power of the Rose Fairy - an angel that has the heavenly power of the goddess - they can avoid any disaster, defeat evil monsters, and lead people to happiness. One day, the evil demon named Eurinome awakened from its slumber and cast a curse that made everyone in the kingdom asleep. Only three people was not affected by the curse, and they went their separate ways to find the Rose Fairy. They found her in a magic mirror and summoned her to their realm...

The Prince, Alphonse (CV: Peroperonchiino) 

The crown prince, Alphonse is described as gentle and kind. He has interests with the opposite sex but said have never fallen in love with one. As a prince, he has the strongest duty to protect the kingdom, lift the curse, and ultimately defeat Eurinome. When he found the girl bearing the mark of a Rose Fairy in the mirror, he immediately summoned her into his realm then proceeded to start to have sex with her. He was confused seeing how much she refused since the other ladies he had involved with before never said no to him. Also the girl said she was not the Rose Fairy he's looking for. So he let her go and apologized. Afterwards, he kept her in the empty castle and explained the dire situation of his kingdom. Once, in the palace's garden, she met with two of the prince with Eurinome being one of the impostor. The real Alphonse fought with his life to protect her as the demon aimed to kill her. Her power as the Rose Fairy was awakened in that moment, and with it she defeated Eurinome and lifted the curse. The girl later went back to the magic mirror and wanted to return to her home, but Alphonse stopped her and said he'd go with her, wherever she chose.

The White Mage, Julius (CV: Marikoji Reon)

Said to be a prodigy of mages in a decade, yet Julius never believed he was anything outstanding. But he is very passionate to find the Rose Fairy and to defeat Eurinome with her heavenly power. When he managed to summon the girl from inside the magic mirror, he deceived her with giving her food laced with paralyzing drugs so he can claim her and received her power. He stopped halfway when he realized how horrible of an experience he is to do to a person, and that she claimed she is not the Rose Fairy at all. After a while, she went for a walk with him to the main city and see how desolated it was after the curse was placed on them. They found a weak old man and brought him to the church they were staying to save him. The old man was revealed to be Eurinome in disguise and immediately wanted to kill the girl. With his magic, Julius protected her and she awakened her Rose Fairy power and thus used it to defeat the demon. Julius managed to find a away to send her back home but decided that she preferred to be happy with him, no matter where that would be. 

The Knight, Wilhelm (CV: Sawa Manaka)

Wilhelm was the youngest knight ever be raised to general and lead all the knights of the kingdom. He is described to be honest but serious at all times. As soon as she materialized from his summon from the magic mirror, Wilhelm proceeded with his intent to have sex with her. He stopped when she cried, telling him she is not the Rose Fairy, and that she said to be just a normal girl. Having heard that, he thought to return her back to her real world and asked her to travel to the city to have the White Mage Julius to help. Wilhelm explained the situation of his beloved kingdom and that he would do anything he could to save it, with or without the Rose Fairy's legend. On the way they were attacked by the demon Eurinome and as it happened, the girl's power was awakened and it defeated the demon altogether. Later when she was to return, Wilhelm was ready to say his goodbye but confessed he wished to be with her for the rest of his life, wherever that may be.

Final say: This is currently one of my favorite of the fantasy genre, despite the problematic rape at the start of the story. I always love it when the story doesn't seem too flat and actually has a character development, regardless how limited it is. The tokutens for all three volumes are either the guys followed the MC to the real world and adapted life there, or she stayed in Roswell with them and lived their quiet happy life together. I wish milkychain would do more stories like this.
