Tachibana Seiichiro (CV: Yotsuya Cider)
Both Seiichiro and the MC were classmates back in junior high school. She worked up the courage to confessed to him during graduation but the relationship didn't last long. Years passed after being separated, they met again in a reunion gathering, reminiscing the sweet memories of youth. It was then they realized their work place is very close and neither of them ever changed their phone number since junior high. As they were to part to catch the last train, Seiichiro stopped her and confessed he had really wanted to apologize their last attempt for a relationship didn't worked out, that ever since then he regretted it and never managed to forget about the MC. She confessed feeling the same and agreed to give themselves another chance.
Fujisawa Minato (CV: Domon Atsushi)
Minato and the MC graduated university at the same age, but since he has one year experience prior, he became the senior to her and would help her around whenever necessary. Their relationship was a secret within the company due to their boss prone to make a fuss about it (not in negative way I think, maybe boast about it to the office to the point it's embarrassing? lol), and the fact that they both are working on the same project might compromise something I guess. It had been 3 years since they dated, it's no wonder the MC began to think of when are they going to marry. Unfortunately, Minato commented casually about a news regarding certain mutual acquaintances getting married as "I will never [getting married] like that,". MC kept her feelings to herself but reached a breaking point when he easily praising new female juniors and accepted her Valentine chocolates. A fight broke out, MC saying he never saw her as anything more than a co-worker, and ran out of the restaurant they were supposed to celebrate Valentine with. Minato followed her to her home after she calmed down and MC told him everything she's troubled with. He apologized and explained that his comment about marriage was not because he's against the idea, but rather to him 3 years is not enough of a time to properly know a person to marry them. Despite this, he finally popped the question in the end and she said yes.
Ashida Shuuhei (CV: Sawa Manaka)
Two dating osananajimi but with some age gap, Shuuhei is still managing adulthood while working part time and also a university student. The MC is already working full time, and because of this, she felt the need to pay for him for the things he did for her like gas money when she asked him to pick her up late at night. I suppose that hurt his ~pride~ or something? One time while looking for somewhere for her to throw up (she had been drinking too much), he took her to a nearby hotel. Things get frisky but she strongly said no to having sex then, to which he took as if he's not reliable enough of a partner yet. Later when they met again, she confessed it's because her underwear didn't match?? ...Well. They made up then and promised that they would think of the idea of living together.
Final say: I know if just judging from the summary, there's nothing special to this series. Generally they are nice stories but I'm really unsatisfied with Sawa's volume because... when will it be the time for R18 drama cd writes to write that the MC didn't want to have sex BECAUSE she didn't want to, and not because something stupid like 'didn't put on a matching lingerie' bullshit? I'm quite disappointed with that volume and it's a shame because I really really like Sawa's character in that. Putting that aside, I'm also slightly disappointed that Yotsuya's character said he worked as a foreign affairs and had always wanted to work where he could use English, yet he didn't even say a single word of English???!!!! I'm offended, Yotsuya Cider!! (I don't think I've ever heard Okitsu speaking English too though and I suddenly have the strongest need to!!!)
