Kyuuketsu no Yuuwaku
吸血の誘惑
About: Four stories about four immortal vampires and their encounters with MC.
Trivia: This series is from a doujin circle, but they feature well known mainstream CVs instead of the usual amateur talents.
Warnings: As they are vampires, there are blood-sucking scenes. One volume has the main theme of rape and a mention of menstruation blood.
Leon (CV: Kawamura Masato)
MC was selling flowers (not sure literally, or implied 'prostituting') at the side of the road in a cold night before she collapsed from fatigue and hunger. Leon happened to be nearby and carried her to his home. When she regained consciousness, he asked her if she remembered him from a friend of her parents, and after a while she said she did. She wondered why he looked exactly the same as she knew him as a child. Leon then admitted to be a vampire, which is why he did not age at the same rate as a human. He felt sorry for the unfortunate events that befallen on MC ever since her parents died and proposed that she would marry him. Leon also later told her that the reason her parents were murdered was probably because they were covering for him (for some reason that I can't understand why). He then asked if MC would have his child and at the same time would turn her into a vampire herself, to which she said yes.
Edward (CV: Sawa Manaka)
Edward is the doctor for MC's ill mother who has a clinic in a quiet village, and also secretly a vampire. He had to honestly told her one day after a visit that there is not much that he could do for her old mother except to make sure that she is always comfortable. In a separate time, MC came to visit again but this time alone and to ask about her own declining health. Unfortunately, Edward diagnosed her with leukemia and expected that her old sick mother would probably outlived her. There is also no immediate cure for the disease. Seeing how depressed she became, Edward decided to offer her another way to rid herself of the illness; that she would turn into a vampire by having his child. MC was quite surprised to hear his truth, and she asked a lot of questions such as had he drink blood before and why he became a doctor. He admitted he never drank blood directly from a human, and that because that he lived for so long, he thought being a doctor is the only way to help a lot of people. MC left his clinic then to think of her options, then later answered that she would like to live for her mother, and that she liked Edward enough to marry him and have his child, as well as to become a vampire and shared the long life with him. They ended up together and expecting their first born soon after.
Joseph (CV: Amano Haru)
MC works together with her father at a bar he runs. The bar is always full and she is very popular among the customers. One night, while hurried on her way to work, she met one of the regular customer, Joseph. He offered to walk with her as they are news about young women going missing recently. While talking casually, Joseph suddenly covered her mouth and nose with a handkerchief and told her to smell it. She was chloroformed and woke up in a room she could not recognize. Joseph showed himself and told her he is a vampire, also the reason of the missing young women. He brainwashed them and made them into his slave to do his chores. This time, they are to serve MC. Joseph admitted to have been infatuated with MC for a long time but since the bar was always full, he has no chance to get near her. MC tried hard to resist Joseph's cruelty of imprisoning her and raping her everyday, but when she heard that her own family believed Joseph's lies saying she wanted to marry and live with him, she lost her hope. After one last attempt to kill her rapist by stabbing him, unknowing a vampire could not be killed easily, her will to fight shattered. At the same time, she turned into a vampire, a clear sign that she is pregnant from the rape.
Aaron (CV: Margarine Tengu)
MC ran away from home when her parents forced her to accept an arrange marriage. She answered a recruitment of maids for a certain wealthy family. Although there were a lot of other hopefuls who came to the interview, but somehow she was the one who got the job. She then met Aaron, the young master of the house, and he revealed that he was the one who selected her due to the fact that he knew that she is a vampire just like him. Aaron is very quiet and has a sad air around him. One night, MC saw him drinking something from a glass and he explained that it was blood that he got from a friend from a hospital. MC then got the duty to retrieve the blood from that friend afterwards too. After some time, he asked MC if she would drink his blood directly. Due to the supposed aphrodisiac effect from blood sucking, this lead them to have sex. MC wondered if it means they are having a relationship, and Aaron told her that he could not easily believe in love. His own mother was a human who turned into a vampire when she got pregnant with him. She thought she would live a good long life with her husband, Aaron's father, but unfortunately her husband is not a faithful man. He cheated on her and ignored her for a long time. Aaron's mother ultimately stabbed her heart with a silver dagger after unable to expect to live any longer in misery. Aaron didn't think that he would fall in love with MC but he did, and he realized this after getting violently jealous when he saw her talking very cheery with other staff of the property. He apologized afterwards and then asked MC to marry him. She told him she would if he promised to invite his father to the ceremony (maybe she wanted him to make peace with the father?).
Final say: As they do in doujin drama cds, there usually not shy in, uhh, 'extreme' themes such as Impregnation and Menstruation blood. I mean, yeah sure, a vampire wouldn't see it a problem to give oral to a girl while on her period but.... IDK the image is a bit too extreme for me lol. That said, I really hate Joseph's volume. I was rooting so hard that there would be a redemption, or MC finally free herself from her rapist, but alas it ends very unsatisfactorily with a bad ending. Also, Amano is not suitable playing a villainous character; he sounds too nice. I think the only good story here is Sawa's, though I do like the tragic backstory of Margarine's volume but the very prolonged sex-having scenes is just waaay too much.
