Story: A girl fell in love with her co-worker, who is also secretly an Onee.
Trivia: Onee is a term to describe men who speaks with a feminine tone, and prefers things that are stereotypically feminine.
CV: Chasuke
Takagi Yoshito is a co-worker of MC and they usually would go out for lunch together. At work, Yoshito would use the typical male speech and a pretty "normal" guy. But when alone with MC, he would revert to his normal Onee side; gentle, very outgoing, cheerful, admitted to be quite the pervert, also calling himself Mito (different way to read the kanji of his name [美斗]). Mito is also gay and works part time at night at a bar. All of these were his secret that he shared only with MC, his best friend.
During their lunch outing together one day, Mito told MC that he had a crush on one of his customer at the bar and said he would like to confess to him. He was very serious to get involved with the other man that he even wears the same perfume as him. MC however got a little bit panicked ever since he told her about this because, unknown to Mito, all the times she was involved with him was to eventually build up her confidence to confess her own feelings for him. She was even more devastated when Mito honestly told her he never saw her as a person he would take as a partner, but rather just a good friend. Faced with those facts, MC begged him to sleep with her, and that she will give up on him the next day. Mito was not on board with it at first, but seeing how tearful she begged, he agreed.
Immediately after the next day, they both went back to their previous life. Mito tried to befriend her once again but MC had already determined to cut herself off from him. She gave him excuses upon excuses to stop getting involved with him anymore or invade his private life. Mito now faced a dilemma. He had been unable to confess to the man he had a crush with, and his best friend is now distancing herself from him. He wanted to respect her choice to not bother with her selfish desire but at the same time, he felt so upset. He was even more so when he heard that she was meeting someone else later at a bar. Mito finally realized that he was feeling jealous. He didn't want her to date anyone at all.
Mito confronts MC at the bar and told her this new feelings he had for her. It took some time for him to understand himself, but now he's certain that he's falling in love with her, and that he didn't want any other person to be with her. The two of them accepted each other's feelings and agreed to be lovers. The story ended with them considering the suggestion for them to live together.
Final say: Confession: I have a serious adoration for the Onee danshi trope. No, I'd say I am completely obsessed with this trope. So when I first heard Chasuke is going to be playing an Onee, I was both excited and scared at the same time. He didn't seem to be an actor that you would think of when casting for this kind of role. To me, personally, he plays well as a toshiue or middle aged man, with a "manly" persona. I didn't think he would do this type well, but proved me wrong he did! I think his attempt is the most realistic-sounding compared to other CVs who had done the character type before (not that I've heard a real one speak before, of course, except in other mangas or drama CDs).
As for the story, it's definitely unlike the typical plot of most Onee-themed stories I've read so far, and I'm so glad they spent time to elaborate on the emotions and drama rather than just focus on the sex-having. Usually the plot would be the other way around with the Onee guy having a crush on a girl. But for this CD, I did felt like MC was really being ridiculous when she begged his gay friend to sleep with her. Who even does that? No one does that! (I hope). But for the sake of the story, I suppose it's a good thing for Mito because it made him realized that he's Bisexual.
I wouldn't complain if this title becomes a series. Heck, I really really hope GOLD to make this into a recurring series. Or spread wide to other branches of Onee-danshi like crossdressers, otokonoko, onee oresama, etc.
